Saturdays rescheduled as working days in 2026

In 2026, several long weekends will be accompanied by exchanged working days. This means that, in exchange for the additional rest days associated with extended weekends, certain Saturdays will be designated as regular working days. On these days, normal weekday work rules apply, including standard working hours and pay conditions.

The following Saturdays will become working days in 2026:

  • 10 January (Saturday) – in exchange, 2 January will be a day off 
  • 8 August (Saturday) – in exchange, 21 August will be a day off
  • 12 December (Saturday) – in exchange, 24 December will be a day off
