IFRS 17 report – overview of financial reporting by (re)insurers as of 31 December 2024
Forvis Mazars publishes its annual study on the application of IFRS 17 by an international panel of 23 insurers and reinsurers. This 2025 edition offers an in-depth analysis of financial disclosures as of 31 December 2024, covering: key performance indicators (CSM, combined ratio, PVNBP, ROE, etc.); quantitative data from consolidated financial statements; accounting principles and methodologies applied (risk adjustment, discount rate, etc.). The study highlights trends, disparities and developments observed in this second year of IFRS 17 implementation, with a focus on transparency, comparability and value creation.
