SAT strengthens collection efficiency and reaches historic record in tax revenues in 2025

The Tax Administration Service (SAT) reported that, during the 2025 fiscal year, a significant reduction in the cost of tax collection was achieved, decreasing from 28 to 25 cents for every 100 pesos collected. This reflects a substantial improvement in the operational efficiency of the tax authority.

Likewise, the tax authority highlighted the optimisation of the profitability of audit activities, recovering 248 pesos for every peso invested in tax review actions. This demonstrates a strengthening of control and verification strategies for compliance with tax obligations, consistent with the provisions of the Master Audit Plan.
