Forvis Mazars expands its capabilities with the appointment of Pedro Palma as Tax Controversy Partner
With more than 18 years of professional experience, Pedro Palma joins Forvis Mazars bringing a strong background in tax controversy, international taxation, transfer pricing and dispute resolution. His experience combines a comprehensive view of tax practice, derived from both his time at the Mexican Tax Administration Service (SAT) and his work with private firms in Mexico and the United States.
Throughout his career, he has advised domestic and international companies on the identification and mitigation of tax contingencies and tax audit procedures, the application of tax treaties, as well as the negotiation and resolution of complex disputes. This combination of experience in both the public and private sectors enables him to understand not only the challenges organisations face but also the expectations of authorities regarding compliance, helping clients operate with greater certainty and confidence.
From his position in Mexico City, Pedro will contribute to strengthening Forvis Mazars' tax practice through a service offering focused on helping clients anticipate risks, manage complex disputes and make strategic decisions with greater confidence.
