With more than 23 years of experience specialising in international taxation and cross-border corporate structuring, Alfredo has established himself as a trusted strategic adviser to multinational corporations undertaking investment, expansion, corporate reorganisation and operational consolidation projects across Mexico and Latin America. His profile combines outstanding technical expertise, supported by global academic credentials from Europe and Latin America, with a strong track record in business development, investment attraction and the scaling of multidisciplinary offices.
Throughout his career, he has successfully led the establishment, growth and corporate governance of key offices in strategic markets such as Guadalajara, the Bajío region and Monterrey, as well as expansion initiatives into South America.
In his new role, Alfredo will lead the firm’s growth strategy, corporate account management and stakeholder engagement efforts across Guadalajara and the Bajío region, which are at the heart of Mexico’s nearshoring and manufacturing development boom. His management agenda will focus on strengthening long-term relationships with decision-makers, building strategic alliances within the legal and business communities, and delivering high value-added solutions to both domestic and international groups.
Additionally, he will further strengthen the leadership of Forvis Mazars’ International Tax practice, providing clients with certainty in tax compliance, double taxation treaty matters and regulatory advisory services in an increasingly demanding global tax environment.
