In response to the U.S. tariffs on Canadian exports, Canada has announced that it will impose 25% tariffs on $30 billion in goods imported from the U.S. A full list of the affected goods can be found on the Canadian government website. In response to the U.S. tariffs on steel and aluminum products, Canada has announced that it will impose 25% tariffs on a list of products totalling $29.8 billion, including: - $12.6 billion in steel products
- $3 billion in aluminum products
- $14.2 billion in additional imported U.S. goods

The United States has imposed tariffs of 25% on goods imported from Canada, and 10% on energy products, effective March 4, 2025. These tariffs have since been amended to include potash. As of March 7, 2025, a tariff exemption applies to Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA)-compliant goods. On August 1, 2025, the 25% tariff was increased to 35%. |
The United States has imposed a global tariff of 25% on imports of steel and aluminum, including from Canada, effective March 12, 2025. On June 4, 2025, the tariff was increased to 50% and expanded to include additional derivative products. |
