Global Consulting Leader Jakob Haesler

Jakob Haesler has over 25 years of professional experience counselling leading companies across the globe in Financial Services, as co-founder of an AI startup, investor and advisor to startups in tech and non-profits. He has deep knowledge and practice in strategy, large-scale transformations, organisation and leadership. His industry expertise focuses on financial services and technology.

Jakob started his career at McKinsey in Germany in 1999 and was elected a Partner in 2005. In 2006 he transferred to the French office where he stayed until he co-founded Tinyclues, an AI startup in 2010. At McKinsey, he led the Organization and Leadership practice in France, part of the European Retail Banking Leadership.
Since leaving Tinyclues in 2014, he has been investing in and advising startups in tech and non-profits, and, since 2015 acted as Senior Advisor at Mazars. He has also served as a Director and member of the Investment Committee of Profile Investment, an investment firm in the legal space.

He has been named one of 40 European leaders under the age of 40 by the European think tank Friends of Europe. He is a Director of the Harvard Alumni Association and a Harvard Kennedy School of Government’s Global Alumni Board member.

Jakob obtained a lic.oec Masters's degree from the University of St.Gallen where he was a German National Merit Scholar, participated in a non-degree programme at the Institut d’Etudes Politques de Paris, and was awarded a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School.
