Betyák Zoltán Director / Innovation and IT audit

Zoltán Betyák began his career in scientific research, conducting experimental studies at leading institutes following the completion of his MSc in Applied Physics. He later expanded his expertise into finance, earning a second MSc in Finance and obtaining certifications as both a certified accountant and an IFRS specialist, having successfully passed the ACCA Diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR).

Since 2013, Zoltán has been a key member of the Forvis Mazars team in the Hungarian office, building deep expertise in audit, IT audit, and digital transformation. He initially served as a manager in the audit department, later transitioning to the IT audit team, and currently holds roles as director of the innovation department and head of the IT audit business line. In 2019, under his coordination, the firm successfully implemented a new audit software solution, marking a major milestone in its digital evolution.

In 2025, Zoltán took a new regional leadership role as transformation leader for the Central and Eastern European region at Forvis Mazars. In this capacity, he oversees innovation, transformation, and organizational change across multiple countries. He also plays an active and influential role in the group’s international transformation leadership team, contributing to strategic initiatives that shape the firm’s global evolution.

He brings exceptional IT expertise and a systems-oriented mindset to his work. His audit experience spans a diverse range of industries, including financial institutions—particularly banks and insurance companies—as well as manufacturing and service sectors. He is a confident multilingual communicator, fluent in Hungarian, English, French, and Serbo-Croatian.
