Mexican tax authority holiday period: December 18th, 2025 to January 2nd, 2026

On December 17, 2025, the Sixth Resolution of Amendments to the Miscellaneous Tax Resolution for 2025 and its Annexes 1 and 1-A was published in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF for its acronym in Spanish).
This resolution establishes the second general holiday period for the Mexican Tax Administration Service (SAT for its acronym in Spanish), which runs from 18 December 2025 to 2 January 2026.
What does this period mean for taxpayers?
During these dates, no procedures can be carried out before the SAT.
Legal deadlines will not run.
If any application or document is submitted during this period, it will be deemed filed on 3 January 2026.
