Mazars as Partner of the 21st Economic Forum in Krynica

During this edition of Economic Forum in Krynica Mazars and its partner firms: Gras Savoye and Gide Loyrette Nouel are organising a panel discussion “Social security, a driving force of development? Employee share ownership, pension schemes, health insurance”.
The discussion will be held on 7th September.

After an insecure period for economy development during which businesses have often had to downsize, decrease wages or reduce employee benefits, now employers muster their forces to enhance their attractiveness on the market. Today, when experienced specialists are growing in value, the new European labour markets have been opened opened to Polish employees and companies are even more aware of the importance of human resources, the appropriate personnel selection and preventing key employees from changing employer has become one of the major challenges for businesses.

The companies need the effective employee programmes, even though the price still plays an important role when it comes to its creation. The fringe benefits market is already quite diversified thanks to external suppliers offering products and services in this field and employers themselves are looking for the most effective and innovative solutions.

Can pension schemes, health insurance, management stock option programmes or employee share ownership plans be a better tool to build involvement and loyalty of employees than conventional fringe benefits? Can they become a good recipe for strengthening bonds between the employee and employer? Do these benefits have an impact on the increase of employee effectiveness and therefore on the company development dynamics? What experience do Polish and international firms have in this area?

The above questions will be addressed by the panel discussion organisers:

Social security, a driving force of development?

Employee share ownership, employee incentives.
