Exhibition of paintings by Richard Wawro
Richard Wawro was a Scottish artist with Polish roots, one of the greatest autistic savants – a person with a mental disability, who demonstrates profound and prodigious capacities or abilities far in excess of what would be considered normal. Wawro created his paintings with extreme precision. Margaret Thatcher owns several of his pictures as did the late Pope John Paul II. He has sold over 1000 pictures in over 100 exhibitions.
The exhibition of paintings by Richard Wawro will be held in the Gallery of the Krakow branch of the Association "Wspólnota Polska" in Dom Polonii at Rynek Główny 14 in Krakow.
The exhibition's opening will take place on 9th September 2015 at 6:00 p.m. During the opening you can also listen to traditional Scottish bagpipe music by Lindsay Davidson and participate in the bidding of the American painting of Richard Wawro "Departure of Queen Elizabeth II".
The exhibition will be open until 25th September 2015, Monday-Friday (10.00 a.m. -5.00 p.m.). Free entrance.
