December, the month of generosity and care: wrapping up our Christmas CSR initiatives for 2025!
This is how our Christmas charitable initiatives came to life, understanding our ability to make a change in this reality and create a positive impact. By working with community representatives and local NGOs and with the help of our people, we took these initiatives and transformed them into a beloved annual tradition.
This year, our partner for both of our initiatives was Fundația Inocenți, a local NGO that shares our values and works to help children within disadvantaged communities reach their full potential.
Letters to Santa
Because we know that sometimes is impossible for Santa Claus to visit all children in one night, we make sure that every Christmas, Santa's team gets a little bigger. Each year, we collect letters from children within disadvantaged communities who wrote to Santa with the hope that their biggest wishes might come true. This year, 96 letters were distributed to our generous elves, who picked out each item on the lists with love and care.
Our philosophy is and will always be that no kid is left behind, and we make sure to stay true to this promise. Thus, all 96 letters found a responsible elf and in less than three weeks, all gifts were collected at our office, sorted and delivered to the children in due time for Christmas.
Our Charitable Christmas Fair
After all, what is Christmas without a proper Winter Fair? Following the enthusiasm surrounding last year’s inaugural edition, this December, we brought the fair back to our office.
How does it work?
During one day only, our colleagues had the opportunity to visit the three stands present at the fair: The North Pole Cafe, grabbing a sweet homemade treat, a festive hot cocoa or a delicious lemonade, Santa’s Secret Stash, our surprise raffle stand, where each donation is rewarded with a secret prize and the Little hands, Big hearts shop, where they could pick a handmade decoration, carefully crafted by the children of Inocenți.
All proceeds were doubled by our firm and donated to the NGO in support of their initiatives revolving around children’s access to good quality education, regardless of their socio-economic status.
When sustainability meets creativity: mug painting workshop at the office!
This December, our team had the opportunity to participate in a mug painting workshop facilitated by Mica Cera, a local artisan that turns pottery into pieces of art with a story behind them. It all started with our rebranding last year, when our brand gained a whole new visual identity, becoming Forvis Mazars. But, as time went on and we said goodbye to other branded products we used and loved, our coffee and tea mugs sat patiently around the office waiting for their moment.
And that moment came in the form of our mug painting workshop – an occasion for us to gather and use our creativity to transform the cups, giving them a fresh look and a new purpose. Each one of us came up with their own ideas and visions, imprinting them into what would seem like an ordinary object, oftentimes overlooked within the business of day-to-day life.
The two hours spent at the painting workshop represented not only a creative escape, but also a challenge to think outside the box when it comes to sustainability. With small but significant steps like these, we are creating healthy habits for us and for the environment around us.
Our 30th anniversary: celebrating our journey and what’s next
The year 2025 represented an important milestone in our evolution as a company, celebrating our 30th anniversary and three decades of trust on the Romanian market. As we look back, we understand what an important role the support from our community played in our development. At the same time, we recognise once again our responsibility to give back to the community to the best of our abilities, to help the most vulnerable and to continue to build a better, more equitable future for all of us.
