Lucian Dumitru Partner, Tax

As a Tax Partner within Forvis Mazars in Romania, Lucian advises clients in a broad range of industries as they address their toughest challenges and make the most of their opportunities. Lucian boasts an experience of 13 years in the field of taxation, being specialized in direct taxation (i.e., corporate income tax, international taxation, M&A and reorganizations, taxation of individuals) and transfer pricing.
Being passionate about his profession and yearning to share his knowledge with others, Lucian has been involved in different training programs for clients, as well as telling his professional story to students, during conferences and technical courses at universities.Lucian is a graduate of the Faculty of Management within The Bucharest University of Economic Studies, with a major in Public Administration. He also holds a Master’s degree in Public Management from the same institution.
Having a growth mindset and wanting to further achieve more in his profession, Lucian holds an Advanced Diploma in International Taxation, issued by the Chartered Institute of Taxation in the United Kingdom. In 2020, Lucian also graduated from King’s College in London, with a major in Masters of Laws – Advanced LLM in International Taxation.
