Forvis Mazars in Singapore’s homegrown talent joins global partnership, celebrates 30 years of integrated success

The appointment was confirmed at the firm’s annual CARL partners conference in Berlin, Germany. There, Forvis Mazars welcomed a fresh cohort of 106 new CARL partners from 33 countries including Singapore, marking a significant expansion of its international leadership. The firm also celebrated the 30th anniversary of its integrated partnership model. 

Nurturing homegrown talent 

Tan Shen Way’s rise from a local recruit to the global partnership reflects the firm’s robust culture of internal mobility. Having joined the firm in 2015 as an Audit Senior, Shen Way’s ascent to CARL partnership in just over a decade stands as a testament to the firm’s meritocratic culture and commitment to nurturing talent. 

Globally, 86% of this year’s new partners rose through the ranks from within the firm and 50% are from Audit. Shen Way’s appointment aligns with these global trends, reinforcing Forvis Mazars’ dedication to audit quality and homegrown leadership. 

Strategic growth and diversity in Singapore  

Shen Way’s global appointment further strengthens Singapore’s leadership team of 31 partners, including a new Tax partner appointed in September 2025. The firm continues to set high standards in diversity, a key pillar of the firm’s Sustainability Report 2024-2025. 

In Singapore, Forvis Mazars has already achieved significant milestones in inclusive governance. Women now comprise 32% of the total partnership in Singapore (10 out of 31), surpassing the 30% global benchmark often used for inclusive leadership. These figures are underpinned by a strong internal pipeline, with women representing 61.8% of the total workforce in Singapore, up from 60.2% in the previous year.
