Francesca Joly has 14 years of experience in Audit & Assurance and primarily serves municipalities, not-for-profit organizations, early childhood centres and small businesses. She began her career in 2012 with Lacroix et associés, a firm that has since joined Forvis Mazars, and has developed particular expertise serving organizations in the municipal and community sectors. Her work includes audit and review engagements, as well as advising clients on internal controls and governance matters. Known for her approachable style, her ability to make complex issues easy to understand and the close relationships she builds with her clients, Francesca is also actively involved in the development of her profession. She serves on the Ordre des CPA du Québec’s municipal sector working group and delivers training for the Order. In her new role, Francesca aims to contribute to the continued development of the practice, support the growth of teams and emerging talent, and further strengthen Forvis Mazars’ presence and visibility in the region. |

Transaction Advisory ServicesAlistair Beauprie, CPA, Partner, Transaction Advisory Services - Montreal |
With 16 years of professional experience, including 11 years in transaction advisory services, Alistair Beauprie primarily advises large corporations and investment funds on acquisitions, divestitures and other strategic transactions. He specializes in financial due diligence, particularly in carve-out transactions, purchase price adjustment mechanisms, the financial aspects of purchase agreements and post-closing adjustments. Throughout his career, he has been involved in several major carve-out and divestiture transactions involving manufacturing businesses in Quebec and across Canada. Since joining Forvis Mazars six years ago, Alistair has played an active role in developing the firm’s financial due diligence practice since 2020. He currently serves Canadian, U.S. and French clients across a range of industries, including manufacturing, infrastructure and engineering. In his new role, he aims to continue growing the team and expanding its service offering to provide clients with increasingly comprehensive support throughout their transactions. With 15 years of professional experience, Shayne Pringle specializes in Canadian taxation and primarily advises SMEs and entrepreneurs on their tax matters, both in their day-to-day activities and at key stages of their business development. His expertise includes tax compliance, corporate reorganizations, tax advisory and succession planning. He also advises clients on structuring business acquisitions and sales, as well as bringing new shareholders or key employees into the ownership structure. A CPA since 2016 and holder of a master’s degree in taxation since 2018, Shayne joined Forvis Mazars in 2018. Since then, he has contributed to the development of the Tax team and has built his approach around close client relationships and collaboration with his team members. In his new role, Shayne aims to continue developing the firm’s service offering for SMEs and entrepreneurs, contribute to the development of the next generation of professionals and further strengthen Forvis Mazars’ presence in Canada and internationally. |
