Online knowledge session | Payroll tax, social security and pension obligations in the Netherlands

On 12 June, Forvis Mazars, in collaboration with Schouten Zekerheid, is organising a free knowledge session on key points of employment in the Netherlands.

Registration is no longer possible

During this session, specialists from Forvis Mazars and Schouten Zekerheid will share practical insights on international employment, payroll tax, social security and pension obligations in the Netherlands.

1. Payroll tax and social security

In today’s globalised economy, international employment has become increasingly common. When employees work across borders, they have to comply with complex tax obligations and social security regulations.

Is your organisation fully aware of the travel movements of its staff? Understanding the implications of these movements, both domestic and internationally, is crucial for managing tax, payroll and social security obligations. The recent changes of the 30%-rule are likely to have an effect on your organisation as well.

During our upcoming session these important topics will be addressed by Quincy Vermeer, Tax Advisor at Forvis Mazars.

2. The new Dutch pension legislation

The new Dutch pension legislation impacts all pension plans and employers have until 1 January 2028, to adjust their plans.

Jan-Maarten van Bochove, an experienced pension advisor, helps employers set up and modify pension plans. In this knowledge session, he will focus on defined contribution (DC) plans with insurers and PPI providers, where employers must actively make key decisions.

With a pragmatic approach, he will outline the essential choices and key considerations and provide clear, practical guidance to ensure a smooth transition.
