Holidays in the Philippines are declared through proclamations by the President of the Philippines. In 2025, Proclamation 727, s. 2024 declares these holidays observed throughout the country.
The proclamations declaring Eidul Fitr and Eidul Adha as national holidays shall be issued after the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos recommends to the Office of the President the actual dates on which these holidays shall fall.
*In Proclamation No. 729, s. 2024, the President declared Friday, 27 July 2025 a Special (Non-Working) Day to commemorate Iglesia ni Cristo’s Founding Anniversary.
*In Proclamation No. 839, s. 2025, the President declared Tuesday, 1 April 2025, a Regular Holiday following Eidul Fitr.
*In Proclamation No. 878, s. 2025, the President declared Monday, 12 May 2025, a Special (Non-Working) Day following the 2025 Local and National Elections.
*In Proclamation No. 911, s. 2025, the President declared Friday, 6 June 2025, a Regular Holiday following Eidul Adha.
