Forvis Mazars in Portugal expands to Algarve with a new office in Quinta do Lago
To strengthen its presence in regions beyond Lisbon, Porto, and Leiria, Forvis Mazars' new office in Portugal aims to promote the cross-sector growth of the firm in the Algarve region.
"In the short term, it is expected that the Private Clients practice within our Tax department, as well as our Legal department, will particularly benefit from this local presence, providing the opportunity to serve our clients living in the region more closely. However, our goal is to offer, in the Algarve, all the services that our firm offers, from auditing to accounting and consulting services, along with the services already mentioned," explains Sérgio Santos Pereira, Country Managing Partner at Forvis Mazars in Portugal.
The opening of the new office in the Algarve has another clear goal: to promote decentralization and attract talent.
"The cost of housing in Lisbon and Porto is a factor that leads many young professionals to rethink their career choices. With offices in Leiria and now in the Algarve, we aim to promote decentralization and create employability opportunities in these regions, providing local career opportunities," says Sérgio Santos Pereira.
