Professional Background
Achour Messas is a Partner at Forvis Mazars, Chartered Accountant and Statutory Auditor. A graduate of Supélec, he joined Mazars in 1999, beginning his career in audit and advisory services for clients operating in the telecommunications, energy, and transport sectors.
Appointed Partner in 2008, he first led Audit Operations (2008–2012) before taking responsibility for the Telecommunications sector (2012–2015). He later joined the Executive Committee in 2016, where he oversaw performance management and subsequently led the transformation of the Audit function.
He is currently a member of the Executive Board of Forvis Mazars in France, where he is responsible for Growth and Market Development, contributing to the firm’s strategic expansion and positioning across key markets.
Beyond his executive responsibilities, Achour Messas is also actively involved in external governance initiatives. He is a board member and executive committee member of the Observatory of Responsible Purchasing, contributing to discussions on sustainable and responsible procurement practices.
