What is this program?

"AI for Decision, Automation & Trust" is a session within the UOB FinLab Vietnam 2026 Women in Business: AI Readiness & Adoption programme, an initiative designed to support women business leaders across Vietnam as they move from AI awareness to practical, context-specific implementation.

As AI becomes embedded in finance, accounting, and operational workflows, the critical question for leaders has shifted: not whether to adopt AI, but how to use it in ways that preserve trust with clients, partners, and internal teams. This programme addresses that transition through expert-led sessions, AI advisory clinics, and showcases events that connect strategic intent with operational reality.

Forvis Mazars Vietnam is a programme partner, bringing expertise in accounting, outsourcing, and governance to this learning initiative.

What will be discussed?

The session, "AI for Decision, Automation & Trust", will address the governance and operational dimensions of AI adoption that business leaders encounter once implementation begins:

  • How to capture the value of AI while safeguarding data and client confidentiality
  • Why human judgement remains critical in AI-supported decisions
  • How to build strong governance from day one, before the first mistake occurs
  • What leaders who use AI responsibly do differently from those who treat adoption as a purely technical exercise

The discussion situates AI governance within the specific context of finance, accounting, and executive decision-making, where the consequences of misuse or insufficient oversight extend beyond internal operations to client relationships and regulatory standing.

Who should attend?

This program is designed for women business leaders, founders, and senior executives in Vietnam who are actively navigating AI adoption decisions within their organizations. It is particularly relevant for those operating in finance, accounting, professional services, and sectors where data confidentiality and client trust are central to business performance.

Participants who will benefit most are those moving beyond initial AI exploration toward structured, responsible implementation, and those who want to establish sound governance frameworks before scaling AI use across teams and functions.
