Forvis Mazars in Vietnam contributes to strategic business dialogue in Brussels

Minh Nguyen, Partner of Forvis Mazars in Vietnam and Vice Chairman of EuroCham Vietnam, joined EuroCham’s mission to Brussels from 19 to 22 October 2026, contributing to discussions on trade, investment and the future of economic cooperation between Vietnam and Europe.

The mission provided an opportunity for European businesses to engage directly with EU policymakers on key priorities, including the implementation of the EU–Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA), investment conditions, technology and the green transition.

Connecting business priorities with policy dialogue

Over four days, the delegation engaged with the European Commission, including European Commissioner for Trade and Economic Security Maroš Šefčovič. The discussions focused on practical challenges facing European companies operating in or entering the Vietnamese market, particularly certification requirements, regulatory procedures and administrative processes.

European expertise in infrastructure, energy and environmental solutions was also highlighted as an area of opportunity, particularly as Vietnam continues to develop its infrastructure and advance its green transition.

Minh also shared insights into Vietnam’s ongoing reforms and infrastructure investment priorities, highlighting areas of particular interest to European businesses exploring opportunities in the market.
