Preparing for CSDDD
The Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) obliges large companies to identify, mitigate and, where necessary, remedy human rights and environmental impacts in their operations and ‘chain of activities'.
In 2019 EPA research into the risks and issues of climate change for Irish businesses recognised that “the TCFD recommendations are increasingly recognised as the gold standard framework for companies to use to identify, assess and report on climate-related impacts.”
Finance Minister Pascal Donoghue has encouraged Irish firms to use the TCFD framework, and international regulators have also encouraged adoption, including the European Central Bank (ECB) and the European Commission in its guidelines on non-financial reporting.
We provide a unique blend of expertise in climate regulation, governance, risk management, quantitative solutions, and non-financial report production.
We maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and work with institutions of all sizes, delivering relevant and proportional recommendations to each of our clients. Importantly, our approach is collaborative – we work closely with decision-makers throughout delivery.
