Technology that accelerates your business

From tax reporting and finance automation to payroll workflows and cyber resilience, we combine practical technologies with specialist expertise to make complex processes simpler, more reliable and easier to manage.

Technology creates value when it addresses a real operational need. Our approach starts with the process, the data and the risk businesses need to manage. We then apply the right combination of proprietary tools, automation and specialist support.

From assessment and design to implementation, integration and ongoing support

Our offering brings together four complementary areas. Each addresses a different part of the business, while allowing technology, controls and specialist expertise to work as one connected ecosystem.

How we work

We start with your business needs, existing processes and technology environment. Depending on the solution or service, our work can cover some or all of the following:

1. Understand: clarify the process, regulatory requirements, systems and data involved.
2. Assess: identify manual effort, gaps, risks and opportunities for improvement or automation.
3. Design: define the right process, technology and control framework for your needs.
4. Implement: configure, integrate or deploy the solution and support testing and adoption.
5. Operate and improve: provide ongoing processing, monitoring, support and optimisation, where needed.

How healthy are your financial processes?

Take our short quiz and see how your organisation scores across tax, accounting, payroll and technology resilience. You will get a score for each area and your biggest opportunity for improvement, so you know exactly where to focus first.*

*The financial health check provides an indicative overview based on your responses. It is not an audit, assurance opinion, accounting, payroll, tax or other professional advice.

Frequently asked questions

Are these Forvis Mazars technologies or third-party platforms?

Our tax technologies are proprietary to Forvis Mazars. They cover RO e-Invoicing (including the e-VAT module), RO e-Transport, SAF-T, Country-by-Country Reporting and automated tax registration checks through VAT Hunter. For accounting and payroll, we build automation around your existing systems and processes, using selected technologies depending on the scope. Our technology risk and cybersecurity work is delivered as a professional service.

Can the solutions integrate with our existing systems?

Yes, integration can be part of our work. The right approach depends on your technology environment, data and processes, so we assess these before recommending how to implement it.

Do you provide technology only, or also ongoing services?

We can provide both, depending on the area. Support can include implementation and integration, recurring reporting or processing, outsourcing, controls, review and ongoing advisory.

How do tax and accounting automation work together?

Tax technology focuses on regulatory reporting, tax data and interaction with ANAF. Accounting automation focuses on operational processing, reconciliation and controls. Our teams can work together where a process spans both areas.

Can we start with one process?

Yes. A focused assessment or pilot can help test the value of automation before a wider roll-out, depending on the solution and on how ready your systems and data are.

Can you help us assess cybersecurity and regulatory resilience?

Yes. We offer cybersecurity assessments, penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, cyber maturity reviews and support related to NIS2 and DORA. We also cover IT governance, business continuity, IT audit, assurance and internal controls.
