Stephen Skeels Partner - Global Head of Valuations

Stephen leads the firm's valuation practice as well as heading up its FCAS-regulated subsidiary Forvis Mazars Corporate Finance Ltd.

His core work over this period has been for mid-market corporate clients, specialising in regulated work (e.g. Takeover code, listing rules and valuation matters).

Experience

Stephen joined the firm in December 2006, after 17 years of working as a corporate financier in an investment bank and at a Big 4 firm. He has over 35 years of advisory experience across investment banking and other large advisory firms.

Stephen is regularly involved in advising on international and complex valuation matters where local knowledge and expertise help ensure the valuations are robust. Stephen works as part of our Forensic and Investigation Services (“FIS”) team with respect to contentious valuation matters and has acted as an Expert Witness on many matters.

He has significant transaction experience across a range of sectors with a particular focus on insurance. He has worked on public and private transactions covering capital raisings, acquisitions, disposals, corporate restructuring and privatisations. 

Stephen also leads the firm’s Fund Management offering via its FCA-regulated subsidiary Forvis Mazars Corporate Finance Ltd which currently acts as an Operator/AIFM to over 60 funds.
