Company secretaries are in a unique position to assist companies with many aspects of their business including corporate governance and compliance. This unique role affords individuals the opportunity to become familiar with company law, financial matters and commerciality.

By training as a company secretary with Forvis Mazars, you will gain an insight into the importance of good governance, strong compliance and the impact that these have on a business.

From the outset, you will be responsible for the annual compliance of a portfolio of clients across a number of sectors. You will also receive on the job training on more complex matters including corporate changes and restructuring.

In your position assisting and advising several clients you will get an insight into how different businesses work and how different boards operate. You will also become adept at finding the right solution for your client, at the right time.
