Financial Advisory Senior
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior to join our Financial Advisory team. This role requires a strong accounting background, excellent report-writing skills and advanced analytical capability. You will work across financial modelling, valuations, due diligence and market intelligence assignments, supporting clients from diverse sectors.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, technically proficient and passionate about delivering high-quality financial analysis and insights that support sound business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform financial modelling, including detailed spreadsheet builds, forecasting, scenario and sensitivity analysis and cash flow projections across a range of industries.
· Conduct valuations, including business valuations and intangible asset valuations using methodologies such as DCF, comparable companies/transactions, relief-from-royalty and excess earnings.
· Lead or contribute significantly to financial due diligence engagements including analysing financial statements, identifying risks and opportunities, reviewing forecasts and preparing detailed reports.
· Conduct market and industry research to support valuations, transactions and advisory mandates, including peer benchmarking, trend analysis and sector intelligence.
· Prepare high-quality client deliverables, including comprehensive reports, presentations, financial models and dashboards.
· Use financial intelligence platforms for data extraction, peer comparisons and valuation input.
· Support business development activities such as assisting in proposal writing, client presentations and thought leadership materials.
· Collaborate with colleagues across audit, tax and advisory disciplines to ensure integrated client solutions.
Required Qualifications & Skills
· Master in Accountancy or a related discipline and/or professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, ACA) or well-progressed towards completion.
· 2–3 years of experience in financial advisory, transaction services, corporate finance, or audit.
· Exceptional report writing and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex analysis clearly and persuasively.
· Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, financial projections and automation (macros/VBA an advantage).
· Strong PowerPoint skills, capable of presenting financial findings in a clear, executive-ready format.
· Sound knowledge of IFRS and financial statement interpretation.
· Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesise data into actionable insights.
· Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
· Team-oriented mindset with strong initiative and accountability.
· Experience using S&P Capital IQ, FactSet, or similar tools will be a distinct advantage.
· Interest in capital markets (equity/debt issuance, IPOs, M&A) will be a plus.
· Exposure to Power BI, R, or Python will be a plus.
