Our distinguished speakers — Ukraine’s government representatives, including Oleksii Sobolev, First Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine; Maryna Denysiuk, Deputy Minister for Communities and Territories Development; and Yuliia Kyian, Director General for Strategic Planning and European Integration at the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine — highlighted Ukraine’s key needs, priorities, and strategies to address them. These priorities encompass strengthening international partnerships, progressing EU negotiations, and mobilizing support for long-term development.
Huge thanks to Pierre Heilbronn, the French Special Envoy for Ukraine’s relief and reconstruction; Arvid Tuerkner, Managing Director for Ukraine and Moldova of the EBRD; Katarzyna Kowalska from KUKE and Ary Naim of The World Bank Group. This segment addressed the essential funding mechanisms needed to drive Ukraine’s economic recovery. A variety of funding options and financial tools are available for Ukrainian and foreign businesses: from loans and investment insurance to export credits, guarantees, and grants.
Pavel Pilipenko of Schneider Electric Ukraine shared the experience of company’s participation in restoration of energy facilities, and Adam Wolszczak from ASEE (Asseco Group) how the company realized its first in Ukraine in 2024 in a Ukrainian healthcare software developer and is doing business in and with Ukraine like in the other parts of the world. While Jakub Bińkowski from the Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers (ZPP) shared perspectives on how Ukrainian and Polish businesses can cooperate and on the importance of helping Ukrainian businesses to access to EU markets.
