Forvis Mazars promotes Pierre-Alain Tieu to Partner in Australia

Forvis Mazars, a leading global professional services network, has promoted Pierre-Alain Tieu to Partner in its Audit & Assurance division in Australia.

Pierre brings more than 15 years of audit experience, combining technical expertise with a strong focus on client service and team leadership. Since joining Forvis Mazars in Australia 11 years ago, he has played an important role in strengthening the firm’s audit capability and methodology while supporting major French and international organisations.

His sector experience spans retail, distribution and manufacturing, including work with leading multinational luxury groups and French businesses operating in Australia. As Partner, Pierre will be a key point of contact for French organisations, supporting them from market entry through to established operations and continued growth.

His commercial judgement and extensive network enable him to identify key issues, recommend a practical way forward and connect clients with specialists across audit, accounting advisory, tax, legal and valuation services.

Pierre holds a Master 2 in Accounting, Control and Audit from Paris Dauphine University and is a CPA. He began his career at KPMG in Paris and has specialist experience in IFRS first-time adoption, global consolidations and internal controls advisory.
