Forvis Mazars supports Duffy Property in securing investment from Avenue Capital

Duffy Property Group has agreed a €65m joint venture partnership with Avenue Capital Group to accelerate the delivery of its residential development pipeline.

Duffy Property Group is an Irish based developer & construction contractor focused primarily in the residential sector with projects in Dublin, Cork, Limerick & Galway.

The investment will partially fund more than 800 new homes and a purpose-built student accommodation project across Duffy Property Group's existing portfolio in Galway and Cork.

Avenue Capital Group is headquartered in New York with offices in Dublin, London, Luxembourg, Hong Kong, Mumbai, Singapore, Sydney, Abu Dhabi and Silicon Valley. Avenue Capital Group specialises in making opportunistic credit and other special situation investments across the US, Europe and Asia. It has circa $13B in assets under management.

Forvis Mazars supported the deal providing taxation and company secretarial services to Duffy Property Group.
