Marcelo Gomes da Silva Audit & Assurance Senior Manager

Marcelo Gomes is a Senior Audit Manager within the Audit and Assurance department, where he leads complex statutory and group audit engagements across a diverse client portfolio. He is responsible for overall engagement delivery, including risk assessment audit strategy of these clients. He ensures full compliance with accounting standards, applicable regulatory frameworks, and international auditing standards. Prior to relocating to Malta, Marcelo held managerial and senior positions within Big Four firms in Brazil, leading large audit assignments for domestic and multinational entities and gaining extensive experience in regulatory reporting and cross-border group audits.

Marcelo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from the Federal University of Pernambuco (Brazil). He is a registered member of the Brazilian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CRC/CPA), certified under the Brazilian National Register of Independent Auditors (CNAI), and an International Associate of the Institute of Accountants (IAIA), awarded by the Malta Institute of Accountants (MIA).
