- Profoto - Swedish company providing improved photography lighting with high-quality flashes Mazars has been appointed to support the company in their finance transformation project, including localization of their new ERP system, advice for the new accounting set-up and delivery of the agreed model. For this purposes, Mazars implemented a dedicated BPO team based in Prague, to process financial accounting across Sweden, Germany, UK, France, USA, Canada, China and Japan, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger. Mazars is then coordinating the compliance activities globally, including statutory accounting, tax and payroll in connection with Mazars experts in each country. Our expertise has helped Profoto to improve its flexibility, to increase the reactivity of its service level and to fully integrate the accounting with business operations.
- IWG - the world’s largest provider of flexible workspace solutionsThe company implemented a Shared Services Center (i.e. SSC) in Prague before his migration to Manila, Philippines, to cover Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger transactions for most of their subsidiaries abroad. Regus was looking for a global partner to take care of all “government facing operations“ with a capability to implement coordination to ensure a perfect link with the SCC and regional Local Services Centers.Mazars has been appointed to support IWG Regus with local compliance activities, including tax, statutory financial statements fillings, Corporate Secretarial services (i.e. COSEC) and payroll for more than 40 countries, covering a total of more than 900 legal entities. Mazars implemented a framework agreement to streamline the governance globally including coordination of the different activities and countries. This approach combines teams of different disciplines with Regus Key Account Manager in each LSC, Mazars Global Coordination Team (GCT) and the local experts in each Mazars country. Overall compliance is ensured by some Operational Committee’s set-up at LSC level under the supervision of one global Steering Committee. Cooperation and governance is made easy thanks to the implementation of Mazars smart digital platform InControl.
