Data Privacy Statement
This statement sets out key information about the processing of personal data collected through this website and related communications, including contact requests, event registrations, surveys, marketing communications and recruitment activities.
This Privacy Statement is prepared in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection”, applicable Ukrainian legislation and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”).
Data Controllers
The controllers of personal data processed through this website are the Ukrainian member firms of Forvis Mazars Group, each acting as a separate and independent legal entity:
- LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY “FORVIS MAZARS”;
- LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY “FORVIS MAZARS AUDIT”;
- LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY “FORVIS MAZARS CONSULTING”.
For the purposes of this statement, these entities are collectively referred to as “Forvis Mazars in Ukraine”, “we”, “our” or “us”. Depending on the nature of your interaction with us, the relevant entity may act either independently as a controller or jointly with another member firm of Forvis Mazars Group.

Categories of Personal Data We Process
Depending on your interaction with our website and services, we may process the following categories of personal data:

- to other member firms within Forvis Mazars Group;

Where third-party service providers process personal data on our behalf, we require them to process such data only in accordance with our instructions and applicable confidentiality and security requirements.
Due to the international nature of our operations, personal data may be transferred outside Ukraine and/or the European Economic Area to jurisdictions with different levels of data protection.
Where required by applicable law, we implement appropriate safeguards for international transfers, including:
- contractual protections;
- standard contractual clauses;
- intra-group data transfer arrangements;
- technical and organisational security measures;
- reliance on your consent where appropriate.
We do not sell or rent personal data.
Retention of Personal Data
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including:
- for the duration of our relationship with you;
- for the period required to comply with legal, tax, accounting, audit and regulatory obligations;
- for the period necessary to resolve disputes, enforce agreements or protect legal rights;
- for the duration required by applicable retention policies.
As a general rule:
- enquiry and communication data are retained for a reasonable business period;
- recruitment data may be retained for future opportunities unless you request otherwise;
- marketing data are retained until you unsubscribe or object to processing;
- technical and analytics data are retained in accordance with applicable cookie and analytics settings.
Upon expiry of applicable retention periods, personal data are securely deleted, anonymised or archived where permitted by law.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures designed to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access.

- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- object to the processing of your personal data;
- request restriction of processing;
- request portability of your personal data where applicable;
- lodge complaints regarding the processing of your personal data;
- receive information regarding conditions for granting access to personal data;
- protect your rights to personal data against unlawful processing and accidental loss, destruction or damage.
