Mazars: New management of the Czech office

Prague, 5 April 2010: Jean-Francois Salzmann, the Managing Partner of the Mazars consulting company in the Czech Republic, is leaving the Prague office and moving to a new position within the Mazars network, this time in Shanghai, China.

Jean-Francois Salzmann came to the Prague office in 1998 after working for Mazars for many years in France and Germany. In the Czech Republic he was responsible for the development of Mazars’ services and activities. Thanks to his management, Mazars results in the Czech Republic rank it among the most profitable branches, with its turnover and number of employees increasing by more than 400% between 2000 and 2010. Today Mazars is among the top 10 audit firms in the Czech Republic. He was also the Mazars coordinator for the region of Central and Eastern Europe and, as a member of the French-Czech Chamber of Commerce, he has contributed significantly to the development of commercial relations between the Czech Republic and France.

An executive board including Milan Prokopius, Mazars Audit Partner, and Erick Gillier, Mazars Partner, will take over Mr Salzmann´s responsibilities in the Czech Republic. Milan Prokopius will assume the role as Managing Partner of Mazars Czech Republic as of 5 April 2010.
