Maureen Kelly Director, Investigations

Maureen is a Director in the Governance, Risk & Internal Controls team and leads the firm’s Investigations service line.

She is a Statutory Inspector appointed to investigate the affairs of charities and approved housing bodies on behalf of the Charities Regulatory Authority and the Approved Housing Bodies Regulatory Authority. Maureen also acts as lead investigator on a range of Protected Disclosure investigations for Government Departments and other public sector bodies. Her work covers investigations into financial, corporate governance, procurement, fraud, conflicts of interest, health and safety and human resources matters.

Maureen has also led investigations and fraud risk reviews within private sector organisations and statutory regulatory bodies, supporting clients in strengthening internal controls and governance frameworks.

With over 13 years’ experience in the charitable sector in Ireland, Maureen has advised organisations of all sizes on financial reporting, internal controls, corporate governance, and compliance with legislative and health and safety requirements.
