Compliance Executive
Department: Internal Compliance
Reports to: Compliance Manager
Working Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
About the Role
The Compliance Executive will support the Internal Compliance Team in delivering risk-based monitoring and regulatory compliance activities. The role offers exposure to client risk assessments, onboarding processes, and wider compliance initiatives within a structured and collaborative environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: €20,000 – €30,000 gross annually
Pay determination criteria:
- Relevant qualifications in compliance, AML, or related fields
- Level of professional experience (minimum 1 year in compliance/AML)
- Analytical skills and attention to detail
Working model:
- Full-time role
- On-site during 6-month probation period
- Hybrid model (up to 2 days remote) after probation
Key Responsibilities
- Perform non-complex periodic risk assessments of clients in line with internal policies and established risk frameworks.
- Update and manage client records within compliance systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and ongoing maintenance of information.
- Initiate and perform initial reviews of client onboarding documentation to ensure completeness and compliance with internal requirements, escalating issues where necessary.
- Communicate and collaborate with other teams to support ongoing monitoring of client relationships and risk profiles.
- Contribute to wider compliance activities by assisting with projects, data quality reviews, and training initiatives alongside senior team members.
- Support and guide more junior team members by providing day-to-day assistance and on-the-job training as required.
- Prepare and ensure the accuracy of monthly data reports prior to submission.
- Support task allocation and the management of team workloads during the absence of senior compliance team members.
Requirements (Objective Criteria)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in compliance and AML
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent written and spoken English
