Mazars Ukraine strengths its tax and corporate legal practices
In Mazars Ukraine Anna will be responsible, in the first place, for the development of the tax practice, including advising international and local companies on corporate, indirect and personal taxation, transfer pricing, tax litigation, tax compliance, international tax planning, M&A tax, as well as tax due diligence. Moreover, she is to launch and develop the corporate legal services in the company in response to the growing demand for such services for our international clients.
Anna has over 14 years of professional experience in legal consulting (Chadbourne and Parke international law firm), accounting (PricewaterhouseCoopers), and in-house tax and legal background. Among her clients are leading multinational corporations and large Ukrainian companies operating in different spheres of business. She has industry specific knowledge and expertise in oil and gas, real estate, FMCG, energy, mineral resources, IP and telecommunications, banking and financial services, industrial products, hospitality, and other industries.
She is ACCA qualified (UK) and holds master degrees in law, accounting and audit, as well as bachelor degree in international economics of the Kyiv National University of Economics. In 2013, Anna passed the course on advanced subjects in international tax law and transfer pricing at the International Tax Center, Leiden University, Netherlands.
The authorized local legal directory “Ukrainian Law Firms. A Handbook for Foreign Clients”, published by Yuridicheskaya Praktika, named Anna as a notable practitioner in tax (2010, 2013, 2014) and litigation (2013, 2014) in Ukraine.
