The research covered 22 acceleration programs shaping the technology landscape of Ukraine. Since 2022, about 1,500 startups have graduated from these programs, 78 cohorts have been completed, and the confirmed volume of investments raised exceeds $5M. 

The numbers speak for themselves: Ukrainian founders keep building, creating, and pushing the ecosystem forward — and we're happy to support this journey by sharing our corporate perspective and expertise through XFactory Ukraine.

What is XFactory Ukraine

XFactory Ukraine is a free 5-month accelerator program by Forvis Mazars, a global company with 40,000+ experts in 100+ countries. Participants gain access to our international expertise, strategic coaching, and networking opportunities both in Ukraine and abroad. It is precisely this access to global knowledge and connections that makes our accelerator program for startups unique in the Ukrainian market.

We place particular emphasis on the challenges every startup eventually faces as it grows: corporate structuring, international taxation, compliance, financial reporting, and preparation for investment rounds.

Results of the first XFactory Ukraine cohort

In 2025, we completed the first cohort of XFactory Ukraine: 7 startups, 7 mentors, a 5-month program, and 380 hours of support in total. It was an intense and inspiring journey, filled with mentoring sessions, strategic workshops, networking, and personalised support for each participant.

In May 2026, we launched the second cohort of the accelerator, welcoming 5 ambitious startups working across climate tech, energy, agritech, defence, and dual-use technologies.

These are areas of strategic importance for Ukraine, with significant potential for growth and scaling. The next five months will be intense: each team will receive individual support, access to the Forvis Mazars network, and mentors with real industry experience.

XFactory Ukraine cohort 2 participants:

• EcoMur – converts industrial CO₂ into organic building materials
• Infinity Magnitude Batteries – develops advanced solid-state battery modules for energy independence and efficiency
• Raymetra – uses LiDAR and analytics to digitize and optimize bulk material inventory and logistics
• Strix Defence Systems – builds deep-strike systems, including software, components, and electronic warfare solutions
• WildfiresUA – develops wildfire detection and forecasting systems using open environmental data

A corporate accelerator is a great opportunity for startups to access the resources, networks, and expertise of a large international organisation at an early stage of development. In the Ukrainian market, where access to early-stage venture capital remains limited, accelerator programs for startups provide meaningful support and practical tools for growth without requiring equity or programme fees.
