Statista compiles the top tax experts and fiduciaries ranking with BILANZ and PME through an online survey. Participants are employees of tax and fiduciary firms, lawyers specialising in tax law, and decision-makers and employees in the finance departments of companies that use these services.

Participants recommend firms by name and cannot recommend their own firm. The firms recommended most often make the list, which covers business-to-business services only. BILANZ and PME publish the results at the end of October.
