Profile
Anne Spohr has been a Manager at Forvis Mazars (formerly Mazars) since 2024 in Dr. Thiemo Schäfer's Litigation/Dispute Resolution team in Cologne. She advises companies and shareholders on procedural, corporate and commercial law issues and transactions. She specialises in advising litigation funders and in corporate law, supporting (international) clients in setting up companies in Germany in corporate housekeeping.
Anne Spohr was admitted to the bar in 2020 and most recently worked for an international commercial law firm, also in the area of corporate/litigation. She gained international experience and knowledge of international commercial law during her LL.M. studies in International Commercial Law at the University of Glasgow, Scotland. She deepened her knowledge of corporate law from a notarial perspective as part of her academic work at the notary's office Schmitz & Heinze in Cologne and during her legal clerkship at a large medium-sized law firm in Cologne.
