Dimitris Tsapogas Partner

Dimitris Tsapogas is a Partner and Head of Risk Consulting services at Forvis Mazars in Greece. He has more than 18 years of experience in audit and business consulting across sectors covering the full spectrum of economic activity.

He has led complex engagements involving the development as well as assessment of Internal Control Systems and Corporate Governance frameworks for companies listed on the Athens Stock Exchange as well as for banking institutions. He has conducted external quality assessments of Internal Audit Functions and has designed as engagement leader risk based internal audit plans and has led internal audits for major organizations operating in the banking and financial services sector, as well as in the manufacturing  and energy sectors. In addition, he has significant experience in projects related to the development of risk management frameworks for industry-leading companies.

He is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Economic Chamber of Greece. He holds a Master’s degree in Applied Risk Management from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the Athens University of Economics and Business.
