Vaios Plakotis Director, Outsourcing Services

Vaios Plakotis is a Director in the Financial Outsourcing Services department at Forvis Mazars in Greece, with over 14 years of proven professional experience across a wide range of industries. He has extensive expertise in managing and delivering complex finance projects, supporting organizations in meeting their financial reporting and operational needs.

He has considerable experience as a project manager in numerous engagements involving the preparation of financial statements under IFRS and local GAAP. His industry exposure includes Renewable Energy, Construction, Public Sector, Manufacturing, Retail, Real Estate, and Financial Services.

He has also actively participated in transformation projects and ERP implementations, leading the Finance Function workstream and supporting clients through organizational and systems changes.

Vaios holds a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus and an MSc in Accounting, Auditing and Control from Erasmus University of Rotterdam. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and is certified by the Greek Chamber of Economists.
