Dr Stéphanie Dossou is the Director of Artificial Intelligence at Forvis Mazars Ireland, where she leads the firm’s AI strategy and development agenda. She oversees client engagements in artificial intelligence, including algorithmic and sociotechnical auditing and risk management, as well as technical AI auditing and regulatory compliance with emerging legislation such as the Digital Services Act (DSA), the Digital Markets Act (DMA), the EU AI Act, and the General Purpose AI (GPAI) Code of Practice. 

Her work also spans the intersection of cybersecurity and AI, where she leads the penetration testing of AI systems and GPAI models, evaluates model robustness and ensures alignment with cybersecurity best practices. Her approach integrates technical resilience with ethical governance, helping organisations build trustworthy AI systems that are secure, transparent and compliant.

Stéphanie also leads the development of AI and Web3-based solutions within Forvis Mazars Ireland, leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as generative AI, agentic systems and traditional machine learning.

With more than 20 years’ experience in AI, data science, cybersecurity, technology audit and risk advisory across Ireland, Canada and France, Stéphanie holds a PhD in Computer Science (AI and Blockchain) from Trinity College Dublin, a Postgraduate Diploma in Intelligent Systems from De Montfort University (UK) and a Master’s Degree in Accountancy and Finance (France). She is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), certified NSA Infosec professional, Prince2 Project Manager and certified ISO 27001:2005 Internal Auditor.
