Profile
Since 2019 Dr. Berthold Haustein has mainly been advising the public sector on the legal framework of public action in private law, including organizational and structuring issues. Until 2021 he practiced this activity as a lawyer at an international commercial law firm in corporate/M&A consultancy in Leipzig. He then worked as an in-house lawyer for the Federal Agency for Leap Innovation (SPRIND). Previously, he worked as a research assistant at the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg on technology law and information law issues and dealt with rights and ownership of data. Dr. Berthold Haustein has performed several times as an expert for the BMBF in robotics and human-machine interaction. He is primarily active at the interface of corporate law with public commercial law and in research, science and life sciences.
