Profile
Franziska Bouchard is a specialist lawyer for construction and architectural law and advises clients, construction companies, project developers, and planners on the legal structuring and implementation of complex construction and infrastructure projects. She joined Forvis Mazars as a salary partner in 2026.
Her practice focuses on construction contract and public procurement law, change order and construction schedule management, and project-related conflict avoidance and resolution. She supports projects both in the preparation and execution phases and assists her clients in the legally compliant organization of interfaces, processes, and responsibilities.
A particular focus of her work is on cooperative contract and project models, especially collaborative approaches and partnership-based fee structures. In addition, she deals with the legal issues of digitalization in the construction industry, in particular BIM-based processes, as well as sustainability and ESG requirements.
Her advice is characterized by francophile and international project experience, particularly in supporting cross-border projects and applying international contract standards such as FIDIC. She also has experience from corporate practice, including working as an in-house lawyer for an international corporation in the field of public-private partnerships.
Franziska Bouchard is a mediator for construction disputes under SOBau and regularly acts as a speaker and moderator at specialist events. She volunteers as an expert advisor on law and taxation for the Verband Bauen im Bestand (Association for Building in Existing Contexts).
