Juliane Krauß is a specialist attorney in labor law and a salary partner at Forvis Mazars. For many years, she has specialized in advising and representing public-sector employers. Her clients include federal agencies, state agencies, municipal employers, public-law foundations, research institutions, and employers’ associations. In addition to an extensive litigation practice (Art. 33(2) of the German Basic Law [GG], failure to invite individuals with severe disabilities to job interviews, validity of fixed-term contracts, pay grade disputes [TV-L, TVöD VKA, TVöD Bund), the right of JAV representatives to continued employment under the Federal Civil Service Personnel Co-determination Act (BPersVG), co-determination issues under the Berlin Personnel Co-determination Act (PersVG) and the Federal Civil Service Personnel Co-determination Act (BPersVG), constitutional complaints, and much more) across all levels of jurisdiction (BAG, BVerwG), she has extensive experience in providing ongoing legal advice, drafting contracts, and preparing legal opinions (including those with civil law implications) for public and private employers. In addition, she regularly advises and represents managing directors on all relevant issues of contract drafting and possesses valuable expertise in supporting and coordinating transformation and audit projects.
