Michael Thierhoff has been Of Counsel at the Forvis Mazars Corporate Recovery Services division since 2023 and has more than 30 years of experience as a consultant in crisis situations, an expert on accounting and economic issues, and as an interim managing director and trustee.
Michael Thierhoff has extensive experience in advising on and handling cross-border insolvency proceedings and restructurings. He is an honorary member and past president of INSOL EUROPE and was a long-standing member of the council of this organization and a board member of INSOL International.
Publications
Michael Thierhoff is co-editor of the Thierhoff/Müller Handbook on Corporate Restructuring, which was published in its third edition by C.F. Müller Verlag in 2022, and is a guest lecturer at the Chair of Business Administration, specializing in Auditing, at the FernUniversität in Hagen.
