Profile
Throughout his academic and professional career, Klaus Schütte has specialized in banking and capital market law, particularly the supervision of financial services companies. Through training positions at international commercial banks and government institutions, he has also gained comprehensive insights into the practical aspects of these areas.
His activities include advising on market entry projects for financial service providers from EU and third countries, assisting with licensing procedures at BaFin and the European Central Bank, and providing support for (cross-border) M&A projects in the financial services sector – in each case involving and coordinating regulatory aspects with the relevant supervisory authorities.
In addition, he advises clients on ongoing supervision and the associated obligations towards the competent authorities.
