At the end of last year, we had the opportunity to get involved once again in the Practical Accounting Days project, an initiative brought to life by our friends at ASCIG Bucharest. The Forvis Mazars for Good Challenge came to life as a company-wide initiative at the international level, inspired by our commitment to have a positive impact towards the environment through our every action. Each year, throughout the month of July, we encourage our people to get involved in the challenge, to be active and monitor their progress. Each kilometer ran is taken into consideration at the end of the month, being converted into a donation to a local NGO. Although each effort, no matter how big or small, is appreciated and makes a difference for our end result, to make the challenge more fun and motivating, this year the most active person was rewarded with a ticket for the Budapest Half Marathon. Aurelia Neagu, Manager, Audit & Assurance, was our winner this year. We follow her adventure, alongside her experience discovering sport as a passion, in the interview below.
