Appointment of the Chair of the IFRS Advisory Council
On 18 February 2025, the IFRS Foundation Trustees announced the appointment of Merran Kelsall AO as Chair of the IFRS Advisory Council, the body providing strategic support and advice to the IFRS Foundation.
She succeeds Bill Coen, who has stepped down after serving as Chair for five years.
Her appointment is effective immediately for a three-year term.
