Professional Background
Guillaume is a Partner at Forvis Mazars, specializing in insurance audit, actuarial matters, and cross-border financial reporting (US & France). He joined Mazars in 1999 in Paris after graduating from the Arts & Métiers engineering school, followed by a specialized master’s degree from HEC Paris.
He began his career in audit, focusing on large clients before developing a strong expertise in the insurance and luxury sectors. In 2008, he transferred to the Mazars New York (Manhattan) office, where he became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and was appointed Partner in 2011.
While in the United States, he worked with both public and private clients, particularly in the insurance industry, strengthening his expertise in US GAAP, SEC-related matters, and international audit standards.
In 2014, he returned to the Paris office, where he currently leads audit and advisory activities for life and non-life insurance companies, while also supporting non-audit clients in advisory engagements.
He is also the Head of the US Desk in Paris, coordinating matters related to US auditing standards and SEC requirements for international groups.
In addition to his audit and advisory roles, he is a French qualified actuary and Statutory Auditor, with deep expertise in complex insurance reporting frameworks.
